Poetry is the authors way of expressing anything and everything that resides in one's soul, that cannot seem to flow pass his or her throat. It is a feeling, which often cannot be said in a few words or even in sentences. It is often the undying love, that a lover cannot seem to orate directly, yet can so eloquently convey in a poem. It is also the cry of one's passion for justice and for utter despair at injustice.

Poetry isn't always for everyone. It is a musical composition, in it's raw state. It is the call from the spirit, yearning to be heard, read, seen! It is almost a lost art. Yet, it resides in the blood of every romantics' soul and in the depths of any passionate soul, who seeks justice for the meek, their loved ones, family and the needy.

For me poetry is about the closest way for me to get close to my Higher Power, Goddess. While I'm in the creative flow, which I call "The Goddess Tunnel"; because of the overwhelming calm~serenity and inspiration, the creativity comes with ease and readily. In that space of time, I know that "what" I'm writing is close to perfection. When I'm done writing I know that there is very little, if any, changes that needs to be made, because anything that comes out of the Goddess Tunnel, is the exact expression, perception, and "my truth" flowing out from the depths of my soul - my spirit. This is a space, I wish I could reside in all the time, every time, for infinity! Creating poetry is my often my catharsis, at times offering me a solace not even a close friend or lover can provide.
